Are you Religious or Spiritual?

First of all before answering either you are religious or spiritual you have to know what religion and spirituality actually means?

Religion: 

The path that has been laid by the great Prophets or say great messiahs or great masters who all there life have tried to find out the ultimate truth about God and reached Him through a certain path is now what we regard as a religion and try to follow it to reach Him as the our masters have succeeded by following that particular path.

Spirituality: 

It is an attempt in which you try to find out the ultimate truth and reach God through your own love for Him.

So before you try to find out the ultimate truth and reach God you have to know either you are on Religious path or Spiritual path. Though the paths of religion and spirituality lead to Him, there are some differences between these two paths.

These differences are simple but draw a deep line between these two paths. If you look carefully you will understand these differences: 

1.  While religion makes you bow, spirituality sets you free.
2.  While religion shows what you have to fear for, spirituality helps you to be brave. 
3.  While religion directly shows you the truth, spirituality gives you a chance to discover it for yourself. 
4.  While one religion separates from another religion, spirituality embraces all and unites everyone. 
5.  While there is a theory of punishment in religion there is a theory of karma in spirituality.
